Jabez Gorham, a silversmith & entrepreneur, founded Gorham in 1831. While
sterling silver flatware & hollowware, as well as stainless flatware, china
& crystal are the primary products at Gorham today, their commitment to
collectibles is evident in the elegant silver pieces inspired by their
archives, to original figurines from the art of Norman Rockwell &
collectibles dolls designed completely by Gorham’ The originality of design
& partnership with well known artist has been a continuing part of the
Gorham heritage. Designers have been Susan Stone Aiken, Brenda Elizabeth
Gerardi, and Pamella & Noel Valentine. The doll line was discontinued on
January 1, 1994; so all these dolls are collectable. |
