Monaco,
in this coveted movie role, Gene is a
dark-haired beauty, wearing an airy
“bubble cut” hairstyle that softens the
sleek lines of her magnificent wedding
ensemble. Gene’s gown is a confection of
lace and tulle. Under the lace bodice, a
sweetheart neckline offers a hint of
feminine allure. The Peter Pan collar,
cuffed sleeves and bow at the waist are
demure, but with distinctive fashion
focus. Hand-applied satin roses grace
the hem of the full tulle’ skirt. Gene’s
striking headpiece is edged with faux
pearls, and her simple earrings and
necklace are also “pearls”. For years to
come, brides everywhere would emulate
this sleek, chic bridal style.
Circa 1995, retired. Item TM9901 Price $99.00 |
