white lace and forget-me-not blue satin,
Gene is one unforgettable lady. Her classic,
1950’s lingerie ensemble includes a long
line bra, panties, working garter belt,
lace-edged seamed stockings, a satin full
slip and a triple-layered tulle crinoline.
Accessories include a “pearl” necklace,

mint in box, sleek black sheath of wool
crepe. Handcrafted costume 1998, its
dramatic a0ppeal lies in the deceptively
simple lines that hug every contour. The
high standing collar is lavishly
hand-embellished with black beads. The
matching belt is removable. A black slit
allows free movement. The entire dress is
fully lined. Accessories include a plush
silver fox “fur” stole lined in deep red,
petal hat and gloves accented with black
bead-work, drop earrings, seamed nylons,

Rust colored knit dress with a toasty
warm winter coat, circa 1948. The dress
features a pocket cleverly tucked below the
belt with copper bead buttons. The faux fur
mink coat is lined in taffeta, what a wide
collar and poufed shoulders. It flares to
below the knee. Accessories include a twist
hat, matching muff, toy nutcracker soldier
in a gift box, golden scarf brooch
closed-toe “suede” shoes, hose and
“aquamarine earrings”. Circa 1998.

Blonde Lace #D02208,
mint in box, a chic tuxedo with tailored
jacket, slacks and lace-trimmed halter top.
Lace cuffs, a black velvet beret and a tiny
boutonniere complete with ensemble.
With matching shoes, hose and a “pearl”
topped cane. “Blond Lace” is circa 1941 and
was designed exclusively for Gene by Tim
Kennedy.

Black Ribbon #3967, mint
in box is a close-fitting black charmeuse
sheath, with a sweetheart neckline.
Its basic black is relieved by a hidden
lining of mauve. Circa 1942. A long-sleeved
overdress of black netting, tapered at the
waist is set f dramatically by insets of
horizontal satin ribbons, giving a
back-on-black effect to the sheath. A
rhinestone horse-shoe shaped brooch adds a
touch of sparkle to the ensemble. Gene
carries an iridescent black feather and
black satin ribbon fan. Includes veiled
crownless woven hath hat pin, rhinestone
post earrings, black heels, black net gloves
